Meet Johnny Bayles
Founder of Trillium Domes, geodesic builder, and designer.
Johnny spent a decade in high-performance residential construction before his long-running passion for geodesic structures became his full-time focus. His work blends the precision and efficiency of modern building with design principles rooted in sacred geometry.
Through Trillium Domes, Johnny has helped demystify geodesic domes and zomes for everyday builders. His YouTube tutorials and detailed woodworking plans break these structures down into clear, practical workflows for DIYers and professionals alike. To date, he's been directly involved in over 100 geodesic projects around the world.
In this workshop, Johnny will personally guide you from early planning through an assembled zome. You'll get a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on building, with the freedom to participate at whatever level feels right for you. No pressure, just learning by doing.
Johnny's teaching style is patient, accessible, and rooted in the belief that anyone can build beautiful, functional structures with the right guidance.
