The Most Expansive View on the Lake

Loma sits elevated above the water with an unbroken panoramic view across the caldera. Three volcanoes. Miles of open water. A sky that changes every hour.

Your guests wake up to it, eat facing it, practice yoga in front of it, fall asleep to it. For six days, this view becomes the backdrop for every conversation, every breakthrough, every quiet moment of reflection. It stays with them long after they leave.

Something shifts when you spend a week looking out at a massive caldera filled with water, miles across, carved by an ancient supervolcano. The expansiveness opens people up. The small stuff falls away. Your guests will tell you about this view for years.

A Retreat Partner Who Handles the Details

Most retreat centers hand you a rate sheet and wish you luck. We give you the entire campus, a support team, and three meals a day so you can stop coordinating and start leading.

When you choose to host with us, you receive a true partner in creating unforgettable moments for your community.

On-Site Support Team

From luggage porters at the dock to concierge arrangements for activities, our team takes care of the logistics so you can stay present with your group.

Getting Your Group Here Is Simpler Than You Think

Your guests fly into Guatemala City. From there, it's one shuttle ride and one boat. We handle the rest.

Guatemala City to Panajachel

3.5 to 4 hours by road through the highlands. Your guests can take a shared shuttle for about 250Q per person or a private taxi for roughly 850Q. Most retreat leaders have their group coordinate shuttles in small groups.

Private Boat Across the Lake

We arrange a private boat from Panajachel directly to Loma. Your group crosses the lake together with the volcanoes rising around them. This is where the retreat starts before it officially starts. 300 to 500Q depending on group size.

Luggage Handled Separately

Your group's bags continue by road to the Tzununa main dock and get transported up to Loma. Your guests don't carry anything. They climb the steps, take in the view, and arrive unburdened.

Welcome to Loma

Your group gathers in the dining room for orientation and fresh fruit juice. By the time they're settled in, their bags are already at Loma. We walk them to their rooms and the retreat begins.

What you tell your guests

'Fly into Guatemala City. Take a shuttle to Panajachel. We'll handle everything from there.' That's it. You don't have to be a travel agent. We coordinate the boat, the luggage, and the welcome.

Where Every Detail Serves Wellness

We define luxury as functional, regenerative, and real. Every material, every system, every design choice at Loma exists to serve the wellness of your guests and the land it sits on. The construction integrates with the hillside. The materials come from the region. The energy systems respect the environment while keeping your people comfortable.

Your guests feel it the moment they arrive. The air, the water, the light, the way the space holds them. This is what regenerative design does. And it's what brings people back.

Solar Hot Water

Solar-powered hot water across every room, with electric backup so your guests always have a hot shower with strong pressure. At the lake, that's a luxury. Many properties offer outdoor showers that go cold after a few minutes. Every bathroom at Loma delivers reliable hot water, every time.

Natural Materials

Natural wood, open air, integrated with the landscape. The rooms feel like retreat. Comfortable, grounded, real. The kind of place where you can hear the birds and feel the breeze.

Eco-Integrated Construction

Built to honor the hillside it sits on. The campus works with the terrain rather than flattening it. Eco-conscious travel is the foundation here, something your guests see and feel in every direction.

Safe Filtered Water

UV-filtered drinking water throughout the campus. One less thing for you or your guests to think about. No buying bottled water, no worrying about stomach issues.

Modern Plumbing Throughout

Every bathroom on campus has full-flush toilets that handle toilet paper normally. Many places around the lake use compost toilets or require paper in a bin. Your guests from countries with modern comforts won't have to adjust.

Dining table set with place settings overlooking Lake Atitlan

Nourishment That Supports the Work

We believe food is part of the transformation. Our chef team serves three fresh, farm-to-table meals daily, crafted with love and local ingredients. We accommodate dietary needs with advance notice.

Meals are served in a communal rhythm that builds connection. Breakfast before practice, lunch that refuels without weighing people down, dinner that brings the group together at the end of the day. All of it facing the volcanoes.

Between sessions, your guests help themselves to fresh fruit juices, local Guatemalan coffee, herbal teas, and UV-filtered drinking water. No one has to think about it. It's just there.

Your people feel genuinely cared for.

People Who've Hosted Here

Video testimonial from Vanessa

The rooms are perfect. Natural wood, honest comfort. The kitchen staff was amazing. The team joined our treks and people genuinely connected with them. It's the ideal place I would seek for a retreat.

The shala was the perfect amount of space for 20 people. And the ability to go support local Mayans with the fire ceremony, the cooking, the weaving. That was essential for us.

Vanessa, SoulFlow Journeys

18 guests, 6 nights. Yoga and cultural immersion retreat. Has hosted 14 retreats at venues around the world. Said Loma was the most supported she's ever felt. Already booked three more weeks.

Your Support Team

Our on-site team has supported groups of 20+ for week-long retreats. From luggage at the dock to coordinating excursions, they know the logistics of the lake. They join your treks. They check in on your guests. They become part of the experience.

Local Ownership Pathway

We offer tenured Mayan staff in management positions the opportunity to earn ownership in Loma. If supporting local ownership matters to you and your guests, this is how the business is structured.

Values-Aligned Space

Loma is built around respect for people, place, and the land. We work with a local team, steward the environment, and keep the campus intentionally calm and clean. We ask all guests to treat the land, facilities, and local culture with respect, follow safety guidelines, and honor the shared intention of creating a peaceful, healing environment.

Easy Booking Timeline

Three steps from interest to confirmed dates. We handle all the coordination so you can arrive ready to lead.

1

Reserve your week

$5,000 deposit secures your dates. We'll block the campus for your group and start the planning conversation.

2

Confirm your guest count

120 days before arrival, pay 30% of your total. This is when we finalize room configurations and start coordinating logistics.

3

Finalize details

14 days before arrival, pay balance and send guest info forms. After that, all you need to do is show up ready to lead.

Peace of Mind

We understand that plans can change. For cancellations more than 120 days out, your deposit can be transferred within the same season or to another season with a rebooking fee. In the rare event we must cancel due to force majeure, we'll offer full credit toward a future date.

Questions Retreat Leaders Ask

What exactly is included in the base rate?

All 14 rooms (10 with private ensuite bathrooms, 4 with shared bathrooms), three meals per day, the shala for all your sessions, pool and sauna access, UV-filtered drinking water, WiFi, gardens and common areas, and our on-site support team. No hidden fees, no surprise charges.

Do hosts and facilitators count toward the guest number?

Yes. Your team is included in the guest count. If you have 16 guests plus 2 hosts, your total is 18. No extra charge for your facilitators or co-leaders.

How many guests can we actually host?

14 to 28. With 14 rooms, you can host 14 in private rooms or up to 28 by sharing. The shala, dining room, and common areas all handle groups at the upper end comfortably. Most retreat leaders we work with bring 16 to 20 people.

Do you help us plan, or are we on our own?

We're a full host partner. We support rooming strategy and logistics, retreat week flow and on-site coordination, dietary coordination and guest intake timeline, and optional add-ons like ceremonies, wellness services, and excursions. You lead your retreat. We provide the container and support, and we coordinate anything you want to integrate on-site.

Can my guests book excursions through you directly?

Yes. Our front desk coordinates kayaking, volcano hikes, paddleboarding, massages, and more. Your guests book and pay directly with us. You don't have to organize anything or chase anyone for payment afterward. More freedom for your guests, less work for you.

Can we do back-to-back retreats?

Absolutely. We just need one day between groups for turnover. Several leaders book consecutive weeks to save on flights and maximize their time at the lake.

Is the space values-aligned?

Loma is built around respect for people, place, and the land. We work with a local team, steward the environment, and keep the campus intentionally calm and clean. If cultural respect and local community support are part of your brand as a retreat leader, you won't have to explain or justify your choice of venue. It speaks for itself.

What does hosting actually cost, and can my retreat be profitable?

That's exactly what the calculator below is for. Plug in your group size, pick your season, set your per-guest pricing, and see your costs, revenue, and margins in real time. Most leaders who charge $2,500 to $3,000 per guest see healthy margins even after covering their transport and facilitator costs.

What happens if plans change?

Deposits more than 120 days out can be transferred to new dates within the same season, or to another season with a rebooking fee. In the event of force majeure, we offer full credit toward a future date. We know plans shift. We'll work with you.

Is alcohol allowed on campus?

Loma is an alcohol-free campus. This supports the intentional, healing environment your guests came for. Most retreat leaders we work with find this aligns naturally with the kind of experience they want to create.

What if I can't fill all the rooms?

Most first-time hosts at Loma bring 14 to 18 guests and still see strong margins. You're paying for the full campus regardless, so you keep 100% of the upside on every ticket sold. We also help you think through pricing strategy so your per-person rate covers your costs comfortably even at lower headcounts. You don't need a full house to have a profitable retreat.

Other venues seem cheaper per night. Why?

They probably are, until you add meals, shala rental, AV equipment, transport coordination, and a support team. Most venues quote a room rate and leave the rest to you. Our rate covers everything in a single, clean number: rooms, three meals a day, fresh juices, local Guatemalan coffee, the shala with all equipment, pool, sauna, filtered water, WiFi, and a dedicated support team. Nothing gets itemized during the retreat. Your guests stay present and you stay focused on their transformation. When you compare total cost of delivery, Loma is competitive. When you factor in the hours you save on logistics, the value is clear.

Run Your Numbers

You've seen the pricing, the rooms, and what's included. Now plug in your group size, pick your season, set what you'll charge per guest, and see exactly what your retreat costs and what you take home.

When the numbers work, reach out and we'll lock in your dates.
